Day 12 Eden

Day 12 Eden

Dave is actually going to receive another transplant by IV today which is wonderful news…….he will be ahead of the game with this one. He started his treatments so early that there was time for another….everyone else will be getting their fourth today, when he gets his 5th. I am staying back at the hotel again today even though I feel much better…I want to be sure that I didn’t have the flu instead of food poisoning. Pretty sure it was the mayo at lunch time…no one else ate it but me. I am sending Cindy with the camera to take photos even though it will be the same as usual. Being here at Eden and being watched over so wonderfully you feel like you are being healed.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better Beanie!

Are you saying that Dad is getting an additional transplant over and above the other patients?

Tami and I were just talking about who we could bribe to slip him an extra 25,000 or so stem cells! Someone must have overheard us plotting :)

25 million extra. It will only magnify the effects of the treatment. I guess treating them to dinner the other night paid off.

Yes, guys. 25 mil more plus the extra 5 vials the other day as well. Cindy will have to ask if they are nerological or immune system. We were hoping he would get an extra transplant as well, since he was on a different schedule then the other patients. maybe this will be the key to success...who knows. They are trying things out as well to see what works best, I guess. Who knows, they may change the protocal if he shows great results...a lot of this is trying to hit the best quess. hopefully Cindy will blog after lunch and let us know what kind of stem cells they used today and whether it was IV and into the stomach or just IV.

BTW; when we get back to FL I will ask Ric to help me do a slide show and post it for you all on Picassa. I know you are dying to see what paradise looks like:)

Hi Dave,

Looking good. Everything seems to work in its own time. Go stem cells. Keep your faith up and keep smiling.

Dave,
It's way too early Wednesday morning but...
You are looking great, I like the beard, recommend you keep it this time!
Everyone is enjoying the blog and the connectivity it provides; one of the best indicators of how things are going is your ever bradening smile. You continue to be an inspriation to us all and we look forward to your recovery and return.
Thinking of you and Cindy always.

Hello Dave and Cindy!
We sure have been praying for you and can't wait until you come back to the office. I am sure no one chooses their battles, but I have to say you have shown us what a courageous person you are. You are an inspiration to many. I have a friend in the hospital with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and I have been telling him your story with the hope that he too will be encouraged and stay as positive as you have. Faith has a lot to do with it!!! God bless you and your family. We will continue praying for you. Can't wait to see you back at the office...that will mean a trip to Corporate just to see you wander the halls with a triumphant smile.

Was talking with Howard Spencer, he said to pass on his well wishes. We were talking about the miracle you are experiencing, amazing is the word that came up most often. Both the procedure and you are amazing and inspirational. I guess we need to work our congressmen and women over to start looking at the results you're having. Maybe they will do something to allow it in this country, the most advanced and wealthy, right...

Glad things are going as well as they seem, I believe sometime later this year we will have to do a TGIF in your honor. I know I'll attend, can't wait.

Take care for now, keep us posted on how things are going. Have a safe trip home and we'll see you when we can.

Bill
