4 hours post transplant

I will send photos later of Dave’s first get up and walk to the window since transplant. Roommate Jerry was cheering him on. He lifted his hands above his head and cheered. He doesn’t want to be too overly optimistic, but Cindy and I can already see a difference in his energy level. He was getting exhausted just walking to the toilet before. Tomorrow will be the exciting day….transplant of the neurological stem cells directly to the bone marrow. These will get the muscles refiring and rebuilding. Should be around the same time……1-2 EST on Tuesday.

Love DCB

Father, I am your child. I am filled with your Spirit. I believe that Jesus bore my sickness and carried my diseases, and I believe that by His stripes I was healed 2,000 years ago.
Right now, I accept that fact by faith. I believe that I am healed now, in the Name of Jesus.

Amen

God's spirit is all around you!
We continue to keep you in our hearts an prayers.
You look great!!

This is so exciting and fascinating! I'm so happy to have this tracking on your progress.

You will be interested to know that today as I was watching CNN they announced that stem cells have been shown to help ALS patients. It's about time conventional medicine recognizes this....and you, Dave, are about to prove it once again.

Continued prayers..........Love.....Sue

Hi Dave, I can already see an improvement. Last time we talked you said it was difficult to comb you hair and now you are doing the Rocky dance. Hope everything in the future is as good as it has been since you got there. See you soon.

Hey Tami,

I was talking to Donna White the other day and I asked about your dad and she noted she’d forward an e-mail about your dad’s treatment. I used to work for the SETS group at AMSEC about four years ago (Dawn Eckhout, the red-headed HR manager in the front office).

I absolutely adore(d) your dad – he was one of the nicest managers I had to work with at the company. I’m now working at another defense contractor company in Hampton, VA, but still keep several folks on my contact list from AMSEC.

Please forward my best wishes to your dad and let him know more folks are keeping him in their prayers and wishes than he will ever know!

I know today is a more wait & see kind of day since it is a very different type of procedure so we don't get pictures every step of the way. After yesterday, it is so hard to be patient. Love you all and know the prayers continue to flow.

Lots of Love and Lots of Blessings, Bev
